Good prices on laser grips

Probably most of you go to the range a lot and don't need them, but the wife and I are fine with long guns but not so hot with handguns, and I already know we won't go to the range enough to get very good.

So I hunted down good prices on crimson trace grips for 2 of our handguns. Believe it or not this place was $70 cheaper than cheaper than dirt on those items.

The wife's J frame airweight laser grip is 279 at ctd, and 207 with free shipping here.

I don't really get why they cost so much, but I feel a lot better about her hitting what she means to with this on her protection gun. We are also going to follow some advice from here and practice dry firing with the laser to improve both of our skills and especially trigger skills. The laser will show us any bad trigger technique. On small double action revolvers I expect we both will notice some wobble.

The grip mounted Crimson Trace is a good one. Several people I know like them. I opted for the Lasermax internal one that replaces the guide rod.

I was looking at lasermax for our only semi auto. (Mostly revolvers here) They are very expensive, but look like the better option for the guns they are made for.

How close to accurate was yours out of the box?

Thank You for the tip,we have crimson trace on 2 handguns and one shotgun and any gun we can add it to is ching!
I would really hate to have to use one of my guns, criminals seem to watch all of the modern movies and if they see a laser on them they give up,they know they are one second away from being blasted.

The crimson trace is so good nobody wants to shoot bowling pins with my wife unit and I anymore.Folks get mad when you blow up the dogshit out of every target in front of you before they get 2 shots off.
They cost a lot of money but my friends they are worth it!!

It's actually not bad. You can see as I posted the results (bottom of threads):

I actually got the Lasermax for the "fun factor" but my CCW guns are my Glock 26 without the Lasermax and Glock 19. The Glock 26 with the Lasermax is the one I keep on the night stand. (BTW, all my Glocks have Meprolight night sights).

Thanks! That is awesome. Right out of the box. Nice firearms there too.

I have some other preps to put my money into right now, but one of our Crimson Trace revolvers will be my bedstand one and the other the wife's S&W Airweight.

If I get anything for our only semi auto it will be the lasermax I think. I swear I could drop 5k in a gunshop if I dared enter one. Dad's love of guns passed down, it seems and the wife is as bad as I am. If we walk through the door we buy something. :D So now I ordered my ammo online and these laser grips so I would not pick up anything extra and wreck our budget.

They are OK. I have a crimson trace on my sig P229. They are fine for carrying at night but are useless in the daytime. The further away your target is, it gets really shakey.
If I had it to do over again I probably wouldn't have spent the money.
